AAPRCO The American Association of Private Railroad Car Owners (AAPRCO) celebrated their Silver Anniversary private car convention at the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum October 24-26, part of the Museum's celebration of 175 years of Railroading In America, a 16-month event spanning two years. As it has every year since 1992 when John W. Reading prepared the very first route guide for passengers traveling on the all-private car train operated by Amtrak from Chicago to Hoboken, NJ for that year's private car convention, once again in 2002 the Association prepared a route guide for passengers traveling to Baltimore on the two Silver Anniversary convention trains (an eastern train from Philadelphia, a western train from Chicago).
