Technical Difficulties At TrainWeb TrainWeb is experiencing technical difficulties. You may find that a number of links, URLs, web pages, page counters, banner ads and other features and websites operated by TrainWeb are not currently available. If you have your own website hosted at TrainWeb, you may be having difficulty uploading to your website or accessing it with your web browser. On Thursday, June 6, 2002, we moved the third web server from its old location at an affiliate company over to our own offices at TrainWeb. The move included the placement of the web server onto a new T1 internet access line. Because of this change, new IP addresses had to be assigned to all URLs on that server. We are in the process of doing that right now. If you have been accessing any of our websites using an IP address, or have been uploading to your own website hosted at TrainWeb using an IP address, please use the domain name instead of the IP address from now on. The IP addresses at TrainWeb may change from time to time unexpectedly, so it is always a good idea to use the domain name rather than the IP address. We started the move of the web server late yesterday morning, Thursday, June 6, 2002. The process is taking longer than expected to complete, but we do expect to have everything up and working again later today, Friday, June 7, 2002. We apologize for the inconvenience. |
