Barbara, my wife, and I boarded The Tioga Pass private railcar in Anaheim. Others had boarded in either Los Angeles, Fullerton or Santa Ana. This private railcar was chartered and made this round-trip journey in tribute to Chris Parker, a member of The Southern California Rail Travel Meetup Group, who had passed away on June 26, 2021. Today was Chris' birthday as he was born October 15, 1956. Chris used to love to ride this private railcar on various excursions.
