the Wasatch Range and Weber Canyon in Utah ... the Snake River valley
through Idaho ... Oregon's Blue Mountains ... and especially the 130
miles of the astonishingly beautiful Columbia River Gorge. From Portland,
the Pioneer turns north, around the flanks of Mt. Saint Helens and
Mt. Rainier, North of Olympia your train travels along the eastern side
of Puget Sound, through Tacoma and into Seattle.

of a dude ranch or the cosmopolitan downtown excitement of Seattle,
Portland or Denver -- or a little of both -- the Pioneer can make them
come true.
