"The Passenger Rail News" is a publication for members of the Ohio Association of Railroad Passengers (OARP) and the Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers (MARP). Although the main thrust is passenger rail in these two states, the publication covers more than just what is of local interest in Ohio and Michigan. If you have an interest in the doings of Amtrak both in these states and nationally, you may want to read this publication.
If you join either OARP or MARP, you will get this publication mailed to you as part of your membership. Even if you don't live in Ohio or Michigan, I'd recommend that you join just to get their coverage of Amtrak in The Passenger Rail News. To join, click on one of the links below:
Note: The membership page for each organization might mention some publication other than The Passenger Rail News, but I believe The Passenger Rail News is a new joint publication of these two organizations that replaces their previous newsletters. As stated in the publication: "membership in the Michigan or Ohio Association of Railroad Passengers includes a subscription to The Passenger Rail News, plus action alerts, notice of rail-oriented events, and local meetings."
