FMRHS Layout Diorama Photos- Fullerton Depot Area circa 1950

IMPORTANT: Currently, only the ATSF depot [built by Ron Nelson] and wathchman's tower [built by John Murphy] are exact replicas. Please note that the yellow trim on the windows and the yellow on some doors of the depot is incorrect for the 1950 era; this will be changed in the near future to the correct cream color for window frames and Tuscan red for the doors. Granada Packing is accurate in general design. Other buildings are generic place holders representing the industries or buildings present at the time. As more research is done the place holders will be replaced with accurate scale buildings. Currently pending is American Fruit Growers (aka "Blue Goose" Packing House) and the Crystal Ice House for which we have uncovered historical photos enabling us to begin to model these. Fullerton Mutual Orange Association is currently being researched as well as the Elephant Packing House (Randolph Marketing Company, a packing house in 1950). Further research is ongoing on other structures.
