Photos of rail trains. This train transports rails to a work site where either new rails are being installed or old rails replaced. I am not sure of the exact measurement, but I believe that each rail is about 1/4 mile long. Each rail spans many rail cars. When the train goes around a corner, the steel rails bend and slide but remain in place in the railcars.
