Schedules of Amtrak and Metrolink passenger trains serving the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center. Schedules based upon Amtrak's Spring/Summer 2002 (April 29 & May 25, 2002) and Metrolink's Spring/Summer 2002 (May 6, 2002) schedule changes.
The Santa Ana Depot is one of the busiest passenger train stations on the West Coast. All passenger trains that serve the Santa Ana Depot are arranged in the above list ordered by the times that each train is scheduled to leave the station. There are also some BNSF and Union Pacific freight trains through the station.
Note: All Surfliner trainsets have been delivered to Amtrak and are operating on the Pacific Surfliner route. However, there are still a few single-level trainsets in unscheduled operation.
Trains stop at more stations than those listed above. The only stations listed are ones that are end-points for some runs, skipped by some runs, stations on the Inland Empire-Orange County line, and Santa Ana. "..." as a place holder means the train route ends at the last listed station to the right or left of the place holders.
If you are standing on the platform closest to the Santa Ana Depot building and facing the tracks, "-->" and "<--" indicate which direction the train will enter and leave the station.
Generally, all Southbound trains arrive on the track closest to the station and most Northbound trains arrive on the track furthest from the station.
