REPRESENTED GRAPHICALLY
The logo of The Amtrak Historical Society™ is composed of several significant components:
- The large circle represents a city served by Amtrak
- Inside the circle are four inter-connected arrows representing Amtrak service to the north, south, east and west
- The parallel lines extending from the circle symbolize corridor service, medium distance and transcontinental routes
The overall logo signifies the many people and places contributing to Amtrak's successful operation across the United States.
Concurrently, it represents the Society's dedication to preserve all aspects of Amtrak.
